FOOD DRIVE GOAL INFORMATION

Approximately people will participate in our Canned Food Drive.

Our goal is to collect approximately pounds per person or total pounds.
(1 can = approximately 1 pound; an average CFD nets about 10 pounds per participant)

We would like to collect and donate approximately $ for the Food Bank.
Thank you for considering a financial contribution. Financial contributions allow us to purchase food products that are in high demand by our member agencies. All funds donated through CFDs are used for food purchase, and for each $1 donated, the Food Bank is able to distribute $10 in food.


ORDERING FOOD DRIVE COLLECTION BOXES

The Food Bank is pleased to provide 20" x 20" x 24" brown cardboard food collection boxes that hold up to 150 cans of grocery product per box. Boxes will be heavy once filled with food. Therefore, prior to the Food Drive, please place them in locations easily accessible to elevators or exits that lead to the loading docks.

We will come pick up boxes for our Food Drive. We understand that will help conserve Food Bank resources. Please contact us so we can schedule our trip to the Food Bank to pick up the boxes.

We would like to schedule a 15-minute tour of the warehouse at this time.

We would like the Food Bank to deliver boxes. We understand that we need to book this delivery at least two weeks prior to when we want the boxes delivered.


PUBLICIZING YOUR FOOD DRIVE

Create a buzz about the Food Drive through the use of digitized or hard copy promotional and educational tools. We thank you in advance for requesting an appropriate quantity of materials for your Food Drive which then helps us leverage our resources more effectively.

  Poster 4- color 2' x 4' poster which can be taped on food collection boxes or posted in high traffic areas within your company/organization

            We would like posters with our boxes.

  You will receive a Food Drive Tool Kit containing our latest newsletter and colorful postcards that you can use in promoting the Food Drive among your employees.


PICK-UP OF FOOD DRIVE COLLECTION BOXES

The North Texas Food Bank between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

A nearby Member Agency that receives food from the North Texas Food Bank.

(We request that food drive donations of less than 3 full NTFB boxes of food be taken directly to a Food Bank Member Agency. This helps the Food Bank continue to operate in a cost-effective manner.)
