Central Market/H-E-B Feast of Sharing
Central Market/H-E-B welcomes the community to its first Feast of Sharing, a free Thanksgiving dinner celebration with all the trimmings, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. at Fair Park's Centennial Building. The free holiday dinner is the highlight of the company's year-round effort to combat hunger, with the goal of serving 10,000 meals in four hours. Guests also will find music and entertainment, and several non-profit and social service organizations will be on-hand to provide free health screenings and share other helpful information. Central Market also plans to distribute fresh fruit and other food that guests can take with them as they leave.
Hundreds of volunteers are needed to support the event as Central
Market/H-E-B brings the Feast of Sharing to the Dallas/Fort Worth area
for the first time. Volunteers can find more details and sign up online
